  Groupware Features Include:

@Mail Groupware combines the ability to share Address-book and Calendar Items/Tasks among groups of users with optional permission levels (Read/Write and Read-Only).

The system provides a complete Web-based Groupware system for users within your organization. The Groupware module also provides an Outlook-to-webmail synchronization utility, allowing Contacts and Calendar data to be shared between Outlook 2003/2000 and the Web-client.

@Mail Groupware contains three Address-book types:

Global
This is a group of Address-book entries representing every account on your @Mail system. If you are providing public email services, the Global Address-book can be disabled via the WebAdmin control panel. The Global Address-book is useful to an organization of any size.

Personal
The Personal Address-book allows users to separate personal contacts from Global and Shared contacts. These contacts can only be viewed by the individual user-account.

Shared
The Shared Address-book is similar to the Personal Address-book, with the additional functionality of sharing contacts with other users (or groups of users). Shared contacts can be assigned read/write permissions; enabling the users with whom the contacts are shared to modify the contact entries directly. Optionally, read-only access can be granted to allow the entry to be viewed by selected users, but can only be modified by the original owner.

@Mail Groupware Calendar:
The Calendar functionality of @Mail Groupware allows users to assign tasks to one another and set appointments (reminders). Permission level settings are provided, enabling the owner of a task to enable or restrict the recipients' ability to modify the task.

The Web-based Calendar and address-book can be synchronized to a desktop client running Outlook 2000/2003.

Uses for @Mail Groupware:
You can create a global Calendar for your organization, and notify everyone of meetings and important events.

You can schedule and share tasks with other employees, (especially useful for adhoc Groups working on a project where members will be added or removed during the project lifecycle).

You can post a schedule for selected Users or Groups. For instance, create a Group for Sales and post sales leads and follow-ups to your sales team.

You can specify which users have read-only and read-write access to an appointment. In this way, you can allow only a specified set of people to alter the dates and details of appointments.

• Intuitive GUI
  @Mail includes "Advanced" interfaces for both IE and Mozilla/Firefox that look like traditional desktop clients, utilizing the latest in Javascript/XUL & Ajax technologies. A light-weight "Simple" inteface is also provided, for access via any browser.
• Groupware support
  Utilizing a permissions-based assignment system, Address Book and Calendar/Task data can be shared with and assigned to other users or groups [within @Mail]. Implement the @Mail Groupware solution to achieve maximum efficiency and enhance team productivity.
• Enhanced Address Book
  @Mail's Enhanced Address Book functionality allows users to import and export contacts from/to CSV (Comma Separated Values) file format. Search and import functionality via LDAP is also provided. Users and administrators can utilize the powerful tabbed interface of the Address Book to create permissions-based shared contacts, controlling which contacts are visible to or editable by other users. The Address Book can also be configured to disallow permissions controls for all users (useful for free email services where global address book access is not desired).
• Enhanced Scheduler (Calendar)
  The improved Scheduler interface allows users to manage appointments (tasks) on a quarterly, annual, or daily basis.
• Outlook-to-WebMail Sync
  Microsoft Outlook can be synchronized with your WebMail account so that Contacts and Scheduler data can be shared between a desktop and WebMail client. If a user adds a new appointment (task) or contact while using Outlook or @Mail, the data will be automatically synchronized between the applications.
• Start Page
  After logging into your email account, view a summary via the "start page". Here you can check new messages, calendar entries, tasks, and recent logins. This is a great place for placing company news, advertisement banners, or logos.
• Tabbed Email Browsing
  Email messages can be viewed within a tabbed pane below the folder message-list pane. The tabbed interface allows quick navigation of messages.
• Tree-style Folder Menu
  Email folders are now accessible via a tree-menu, making it easy to categorize folders and access them again quickly. Sub-folders can be created by right-clicking on a folder. To move a message into a folder, simply 'drag and drop' the message into the desired folder (or check the box next to message and select the destination folder from a list).

• Multi-Account Support
  From within the @Mail interface(s), users can access any number of external email accounts via POP3 or IMAP.
• SMS interface (optional)
  @Mail includes an SMS interface to allow users to send outgoing SMS messages to any mobile worldwide.
• Mail Encryption
  Keep your mail private by enabling mail encryption. Options range from commercial to military grade encryption (4096 bit) for outgoing email messages. Messages can be automatically signed with your public encryption key, allowing others to send encrypted messages to you.
• Full MIME Support
  @Mail supports MIME email messages, allowing users to receive attached pictures, multimedia content and data contained in email messages. Users can compose email messages and attach files to outgoing messages.
• User-customizable preferences and interface
  Users can change the WebMail interface style and colors to suit their personal taste. @Mail offers many options that the user can choose from, providing a powerful and feature-rich webmail service.
• Support for wireless devices
  Mobile phones and PDA's that support the WAP/XHTML protocol can access email resources. @Mail provides an interface via XHTML, allowing users to send & receive email using their mobile device.
• Message Templates
  Commonly known as "stationery". The new Message template Wizard allows users to add images and enhanced HTML formatting to outgoing messages. After generating a template, the source HTML can be edited manually.
• Folder Management Utility
  Messages received by @Mail can be moved among folders for sorting and archiving purposes. New folders and sub folders can be added and deleted, allowing users to categorize and organize messages.
• Mailbox Sorting & Searching
  Messages contained in a user's Inbox can be sorted by Subject, Date, or Email Address. Users can search their mailbox for messages containing matches of the user-specified string, allowing quick and easy access to stored email.
• Multi-lingual versions available
  @Mail utilizes a Multi-Language Template system, and has been translated into a number of different European, Asian and Middle Eastern languages. Including Arabic, Catalan, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Espanol, French, German, Greek, Italiano, Japanese and Portuguese
