Email Marketing Center (EMC) integrates with "ShareThis" to provide clients social networking capability.

With the recent explosion in popularity of social networking outlets such as: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Digg, YouTube and more, it is with great excitement that JIKOmetrix announces its partnership with ShareThis.

ShareThis is a service that allows organizations to take content that they've created (i.e. email messages, landing pages, forms/surveys, videos, imagery, and more) and allow for it to be shared by target audiences into the social networks of their choosing.

We are calling this process "Pull to Social" - which essentially will allow marketers to extend their messages beyond their known target contacts.

Why double your efforts? Just do what you've been doing!

You can continue to distribute email campaigns to its existing/known contacts within its EMC, but now allow those same contacts to use ShareThis to pull that message or offer into the social networks of their choosing.

Here's the best part: All social networking activity from the Email Marketing Center will be tracked. It's word of mouth marketing in the digital realm at its finest.

The tracking, which will be available through the EMC and ShareThis interfaces, will provide users insight into the social-syndication of their content. Everything from views, share counts, and which social networks it was placed on will be included in the basic integration.

So, how will it work?

Well, EMC 2.5 customers can expect to enjoy the ShareThis integration upgrade at no additional charge to their basic capabilities within the Email Marketing Center, Microsite Generator, and Form/Survey Center modules, as early as late-May.

Imagine targeting your audience through the EMC's advance search capabilities, building out a targeted email, driving traffic to a landing page and allowing all of that content to be shared through social networks.  When the integration is complete, JIKOmetrix Email Marketing Center will make this a reality.

Another great feature that is included in the basic ShareThis integration will be that your targets, when sharing your content, can select an option to send a SMS (or text) message to the colleagues of their choice. The EMC, through ShareThis, can now allow for mobile content distribution.
